Construct Similar

Location in Menu: Format > Construct Similar

The Construct Similar tool takes properties from one object and applies them to the active tool. You can set an object's properties before it is created in one click. Analogous to the ‘Format Painter’ tool found in MS Office applications.

To use Construct Similar, first choose the Object type you wish:

The menu item is enabled if the active tool is a tool for the construction geometry (‘Draw Line’, ‘Draw Arc’ etc.).
