Importing Point Clouds

Location in Menu: Tools > Point Cloud > Import Point Cloud

This tool allows you to import a point cloud: To import a point cloud:

1. Select the Import Point Cloud tool

2. Click to set the location for the cloud.

3. From the file dialog select an appropriate point cloud file. (the file types that work are .PCD, .XYZ, *.ASC) Then include ASC files with color data.

4. Click open. The point cloud will be inserted into your model.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 as many times as needed. Press ESC to drop the tool
