Installing xCAD

After you have installed xCAD, the Setup program creates a program folder. If you choose the default settings, xCAD is installed in the C:\Program Files\xCAD Technologies\XCW folder. This folder contains several subfolders that contain xCAD program files and related files such as templates, sample drawings, and symbols.

Note: The Setup program also creates a program group containing the xCAD application icon and shortcuts to the Help and the Readme file. The program group is accessed through the Start menu. Before you start the program, please read the Readme file, which contains the latest information on xCAD.

To remove xCAD from your computer: In Windows, select Start / Settings / Control Panel.

Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
Select xCAD from the list.
Click Add/Remove and follow the instructions on the screen.
